Welcome Back Students! Mr. Yost and I are excited to begin a new semester and are looking forward to making music with all of you this winter and spring. We are looking forward to seeing many of you again and are excited to be adding a few new folks to the band too!
Here are a few quick reminders as we gear up for the semester:
Canvas Courses for all of the second semester band classes are now available in Canvas. Parents, please make sure you have an observer account to track your student’s progress throughout the semester. Items of note that will be reviewed in detail on Monday include:
Honors Requirements (for students enrolled in Symphonic Honors)
Students, will you need your instrument on Monday?
9th Grade Instrumental Ensemble/Concert Band – NO, we will start playing on Tuesday.
Symphonic Band/Symphonic – YES, we will start playing on Monday.
Parents: Our first band booster meeting of the new year is Monday, January 8, 2018 at 7PM in the NHS Band Room. Please make plans to attend.
