The following are some importance announcements concerning budget planning (executive board), music rehearsals, chaperone trainings, summer mailing, and more!
EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING
The NHS Band Booster Executive Board will meet for a budget planning session on Monday, July 9, 2018 in the band room at 6PM.
TUESDAY EVENING MUSIC REHEARSALS & CHAPERONE TRAININGS
For Students:
The NHS Band will meet on Tuesday evening, July 10 & July 17, from 6PM – 8PM in the Band Room for music rehearsals in the band room. Please plan to attend if you’re in town! If you need show music, you can view and print a copy from our band website. The music download section is on the Members page!
The music download page is password protected. E-mail Mr. Tinker if you need the password.
For Parents/Guardians:
To be eligible to chaperone for any event for the upcoming school year, please plan to attend one of our chaperone training sessions. There are several sessions currently scheduled:
7/10 – 2 sessions available, 6PM-7PM & 7PM-8PM
7/17 – 1 session available, 6:30PM-7:30PM
If you would like to chaperone and are unable to meet during any of these scheduled sessions, please contact our chaperone chair, Tonya Tucker.
SUMMER MAILING
This week, the band office sent our summer mailing containing a letter from Mr. Yost, an updated 2018 Fall Performance Schedule, another copy of the summer schedule, band fee information, and our band camp “Survival Guide”. If you don’t receive this mailing within the next few days, please let us know so we can double check the mailing address we have for you on file. The documents are also linked above.

The NHS Band Website is refreshed and contains loads of helpful information for parents and students of the program for the upcoming band season. Check it out!
