NHS Band – Week of 9/24/2018

Band Family,

Here are a few announcements for this week concerning the Purple Regiment.

First… a TREMENDOUS thank you to all of our students, parents, and friends who helped make our Olde English band contest a success!!! We couldn’t have done it with out each of you! A special shoutout to Pam Bilton and our Band Booster Executive Board who helped coordinate and run this important event for our band program and community.

This Tuesday’s evening rehearsal is at school. Winds and Percussion students, please wear your black marching shoes, helmet, and a white t-shirt. Colorguard, please wear a purple shirt.

We will have two additional prop building sessions this Tuesday during evening rehearsal and this upcoming Saturday, Sept. 29. If you can lend some time to help finish the arches – we could really use the help!

DISCOUNTED tickets for BandBEAT will be on sale in the band office for $8 (normally $10) at the band booster meeting on October 1, 2018. Payment will be via cash or check.

Performance Schedules for BandBEAT,  Blythewood, and Upper-State Championships are available. Detailed itineraries will be sent out the week of these events.

Please contact the band office with any questions or concerns. Let’s have another great week!
