Announcements: Week of 3/18/2019

The following are some important announcements for the week of March 18, 2019.

COFFEE FUNDRAISER DUE
Coffee Fundraiser Money is due TODAY, Tuesday, March 19, 2019. If you forgot to turn in your money today, please bring it to the band room before school on Wednesday and submitย to the purple box.

SYMPHONIC BAND AFTER-SCHOOL REHEARSALS
There are no jazz band rehearsals this week. The Symphonic Band has two after-school rehearsals this week from 3:45 PM-4:45 PM on Tuesday and Thursday. Attendance is required for members of those ensembles.

CWEA EVENT @ NHS – Saturday, March 24, 2018
Northwestern High School is hosting the CWEA Championships in F Gym THIS SATURDAY. Saturday, March 23, 2019. WE NEED YOUR HELP!

There are volunteer shifts throughout the day in a variety of roles for students and adults. We also need donations of various food items for our hospitality area for directors/staff of the visiting units. Thank you very much for your willingness to sign-up to support this wonderful event for our program. This is our final event of the year where we will need student and adult volunteers in this capacity.

CONCERT PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT
Tuesday, March 26, 2019 @ NFHS
All members of the Concert Band and Symphonic Band will attend the South Carolina Band Directors Association Concert Performance Assessment at Nation Ford High School on Tuesday, March 26, 2019. Attendance is mandatory for all members of these ensembles. An itinerary for this performance event is available by clicking here.
