Please review the following announcements from the NHS Band for the week of 4/1/2019.
The Coffee Fundraiser and the first round of Purple Wear arrived on Monday. Items were distributed to families at Monday night’s band booster meeting and during school on Tuesday.
Members of the Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and 9th Grade Band will perform in the Come See Me Parade on Thursday.
Call time is 5:30 PM at the municipal parking lot behind the Wells Fargo building in downtown Rock Hill. The parade disbands near the Fire Station Museum on the other side of downtown. Dress is a purple shirt, khaki shorts, and tennis shoes. We will provide a trailer to transport marching percussion instruments and sousaphones (parked in the disbanding area). Those driving should plan to park in the parking garage near the police station. You may also park in the new parking garage near fountain park on Elizabeth street. For parents dropping students off, we suggest using the area around the library due to numerous street closures.

At Monday’s band booster meeting, a slate of officers to serve on next year’s Band Booster Executive Board was not available. All nominations to the office of Band Booster President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer will be made from the floor before voting occurs at our next band booster meeting on May 13, 2019. If you are interested in potentially serving in a vacancy, please contact a member of the executive board for more information.
