Hi Parents and Guardians!
I’m Pam Bilton, a band and guard mom, as well as the Band Booster President for the Northwestern High School Band. As this semester is in full swing, we are beginning the search for parents and guardians willing to serve on the Executive Board for the 2020-2021 school year.
The NHS Band Boosters will meet on March 30th, 2020, in the band room at 7 PM. At this meeting, we will present information concerning our upcoming elections. If you are willing to serve, please reach out to a member of the Executive Board. Voting will take place at our following meeting on April 27, 2020, at 7 PM, as outlined in our bylaws (referenced below).

- The Executive Board shall serve as a Nominating Committee. The Committee will present a slate
of officers at the April meeting of the General Membership, to be voted on at the next meeting.
Nominations may then be made from the floor but will be accepted only with the consent of the
If nominations are made from the floor, a ballot will be presented to each Voting Member present at the meeting. All votes will be tallied before the end of the meeting and the results announced. Officers will be elected based on receiving a majority of votes. New officers will assume office July 1st. - At any and all meetings of the Band Boosters, transaction of business and election of officers will be determined by a majority vote of the voting members present.

For clarification, our meeting on March 30 serves as our April meeting. The meeting on April 27 serves as our May meeting.
Our Executive Board consists of the following positions:
- President
- Vice President
- Senior Treasurer
- Junior Treasurer
- Secretary
After voting for the above positions, we will announce any vacancies for various committees on which other members may serve. We would love to have you as part of our Booster team!
