Please take a minute to read our updates and announcements for this week:
- Last week we mailed a letter that included our summer schedule, tentative fall schedule, and a physical form. The yellow page in the mailing includes a QR code to complete the intent and medical permission forms. Please contact the band office as soon as possible if you did not receive this information!
- Outstanding Marching Season Fees and Winterguard Fees have been added to PowerSchool. If you owe anything from this year, please be sure to complete your payment as soon as possible!
- The NHS Spring Band Concert is on May 25th. The concert will be in the courtyard at school and will begin at 7:00 pm. Students will need to arrive at 6:30 for warmup and should wear a nice pair of pants and a dress shirt. Khaki slacks and a golf shirt is an example of appropriate attire. Blue jeans, shorts, and t-shirts will not be permitted for the students. Please be sure to contact Mr. Yost if you have a question or concern!
- Band awards night is Thursday, June 3rd at Ebenezer Park. More details will be shared as we get closer to the date, but right now we are planning for the event to run from 6-9 pm.
Other dates to keep in mind:
- May 17-20 – Fall Marching Band Colorguard Auditions from 4-6 pm in the band room
- June 1, 8, 15 – Marching Band Music rehearsals in the band room from 6-8 pm
- June 1st – Rising 9th-grade parent meeting in the media center from 6:30-7:30 pm
- June 7-10 – Drum major auditions in the band room from 4-5:30 pm
- June 11 – Marching band registration forms and $75.00 camp deposits due
