Happy Thanksgiving!
We hope all of you have a wonderful and peaceful Thanksgiving Holiday. We want to take a moment to express our sincere appreciation to all Northwestern band families for making our jobs so enjoyable. We can honestly say we look forward to coming to school every day. Thank you for all you do for our program and our students. You are wonderful!
Friday’s Schedule & Game Info
Date: Friday, November 25, 2022
Location: Sirrine Stadium, Greenville
Call Time: 3:30 pm in the band room at school
Dress: Wear purple band jackets as the forecast indicates it is going to be cold and damp
We will stop to eat before the game at the Haywood Mall Foodcourt, so plan to bring some money for dinner. Click HEREto see the detailed agenda.
Important December Dates:
Please be sure the following dates are on your calendar for December:
- RH Christmasville Parade – Friday, December 2. More detailed information will be included next week.
- Football State Championships – Saturday, December 3
- Parent Meeting – Monday, December 5, at 7:00 pm in the band room
- NHS Band Holiday Concert – Thursday, December 8, at 7:30 pm in the NHS Auditorium. There is no admission charge for the concert, but we will be taking monetary donations for the Rock Hill Toys for Happiness campaign. Cash donations will certainly be accepted, but if you would like to write a check, please make it payable to the NHS Band Boosters, as we will then write one check from the booster club to the foundation.
Fruit Sale:
The fruit has been ordered, and we await the delivery date. It will most likely be at some point the week of December 5.
Band Pictures
Hard copies of the picture proofs were passed out to students during class on Monday. If you want to order pictures, you can use the form included with the proofs and mail that to the company, or you can place your order online HERE.
Chaperones
Please SIGN UP HERE to chaperone upcoming football games and the Christmasville parade.
Monthly Band Fee Payments
Remember to make your monthly band fee payment. You can pay with cash, check, or money order, place it in an envelope with your child’s name and the payment, and then have your child drop it by the band office. You can also deduct it from your child’s BCP account by filling out the form HERE. Another option is to pay it electronically directly to the school by clicking HERE.
