The following are some important announcements for the week of 12/3/2018.
The NHS Band will present a holiday concert in the NHS Auditorium on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 7:30PM. The event is free and open to the public. Donations will be collected for the Empty Stocking Fund of Rock Hill.
Call Time for students in the Purple Band is 7PM.
Call Time for students in the Gold Band is 7:15PM.
Dress is Full Uniform (no helmets or gloves).
The event will feature festival holiday selections and an encore performance of “Cathedrals”.
Students will need their Marching Instruments in class on Wednesday and of course, for the performance Thursday evening. All Marching Instruments will be turned in on Friday!
Fruit Deliver is this Saturday, December 8, 2018. All students should meet in the NHS Cafeteria at 11:30AM on Saturday to help unload fruit and fill orders. All fruit orders must be picked on Saturday by 12:30PM. We need a few parent volunteers to help with checkout. Parents, contact Angela Markease if you can assist us!
Students auditioning for Region Band on January 12 will perform their etude for the class on December 13 and 14, 2018. A schedule is posted on the board in the band room.
Final Scale Exams will be December 17 and December 18.
Tickets for the RHSD3 Band Dance (12/14) are on sale through Friday in the band office. The cost of a ticket is $5.
