2019 Region Band Information

Region Band Schedule 2/22-2/23

All students participating in the SCBDA Region 3 Clinic are to report to the auditorium of Nation Ford High School no later than 9:30 AM. Instructions will be given and seating of the bands will begin shortly afterward.

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 22

9:00 AM – 9:30 AM Seating in Auditorium
9:30 AM – 10:00AM General Meeting and Seating
10:00 AM – 1:00PM Rehearsal (Alternate Band Begins Approx. 10:30AM
1:00 PM – 2:45 PM Lunch
2:45 PM – 6:00 PM Rehearsal

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 23

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Rehearsal
12:00 PM – 2:00 PM Lunch
2:00 PM MS Alternate Band Warm-Up On Stage
2:30 PM HS Alternate Band Warm-Up in Band Room (other bands follow 40 minutes apart)
2:30 PM Concert Starts (MS-Alt, HS-Alt, JR, CL, SR about 40 minutes apart)

BUS SCHEDULE

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2019

8:30 AM Meet in RRMS Band Room
8:40 AM Depart RRMS
9:15 AM Arrive at NFHS
1:00 PM Lunch at Carolina Place Mall (bring money)
6:00 PM Parents pick up students at NFHS

If students do not ride the bus, parents are responsible to find transportation for their student for the entire event. All students must provide their own transportation on Saturday, as the bus will not run on Saturday.

Other Reminders

  • Be sure to have mutes, valve oil, extra reeds, and pencils!
  • Make sure your devices are turned off at the beginning of each rehearsal!
  • Compact Discs will be available for purchase from “Ingram Track Recording” at the clinic.
  • Official Region Clinic T-Shirts will also be for sale on site by the NFHS Band Boosters.
