As previously announced, the NHS Band will join members of the Rock Hill High School Band and South Pointe High School Band to perform for the Back-To-School Teacher Rally. The event is held on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at Northwestern High School.
Here is the pertinent information you need to know:
- This event is for woodwind, brass, and drumline members of the NHS Band
- The band room will open at 10 AM
- Call Time is 10:30 AM in the band room
- We will rehearse with the other bands as well as members from ROTC
- A pizza luncheon will be provided after rehearsal
- Required Dress is Summer Uniform (Same as Exhibition performance from Friday)
- We are performing at the beginning of the rally (approximately 2 PM)
- We are performing Hey Baby, Sweet Caroline, and the National Anthem
- Winds, please make sure you have a folio and lyre for this event
- Students will be dismissed at approximately 2:30 PM

As a reminder, the band practice from 6-8 PM on Tuesday has been canceled. Our next rehearsal is Thursday, August 15, 2019, from 6-8 PM.
