- Please be sure to get your coffee orders in TODAY! If you forgot to turn in your orders, please send Mr. Yost a message to let him know. We want to call in the final order before noon on Friday. All orders, and payments, should be placed in an envelope with the student’s name and “COFFEE SALE” are written on the envelope. Checks should be made payable to NHS Band Boosters.
The second semester is now underway! Students are now required to log into a Zoom meeting during their scheduled class time – Students can find the meeting link on the band Canvas class’s front page. Directors will take attendance of ALL virtual and in-person students during the first 15 minutes of class, and we are unable to amend attendance records after we have submitted them! Virtual students will participate in warm-ups with the full class and then log off of Zoom and transition to SmartMusic, where they will have an assignment due by the end of class. This week, all students and parents need to complete the “Syllabus Verification” assignment in Canvas. Please review the syllabus with your student to be sure they understand the class expectations and grading procedures. We have thoroughly discussed this process in class, but if you or your student have questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us!
As always, please be sure to check Canvas to keep track of how your child is doing in class and visit our website to keep up to date on the latest band activities and band booster events. We much appreciate your support of the program during these difficult times and look forward to when we can share live performances again with you.
