We’re having lots of fun with the 2021 Purple Regiment so far! As the temperatures go up we will increase the frequency of our water breaks, but please continue to encourage your students to drink plenty of water and to wear light-colored athletic clothing to camp each day.
Please review this week’s reminders below:
- Tomorrow, Thursday the 29th, there is a MANDATORY meeting in the band room at 7PM. All students and at least one parent/guardian per student are required to attend. The meeting will last no more than one hour.
- Tomorrow at 6pm there is a volunteer training session. If you are interested in volunteering for the band at any point this year please plan to attend this session!
- We have been asked to perform for a school district event on Tuesday, August 10. We will meet in the band room at 1pm for a music rehearsal before performing at school. This performance will replace the 6-8pm rehearsal scheduled for the evening of August 10.
- Please mark your calendars for the Mattress Sale on August 28. This is a fantastic opportunity for your students to earn BCPs that can be used towards paying band fees or trip expenses!
