We hope everyone could see the performance at the football game last week. We were delighted with the performance and how smoothly everything went throughout the evening. Thank you for all your help, and here are some important announcements and reminders for the coming week:
We will take a pep band to the game this week at Clover. A sign-up sheet has been posted in the band room for students to sign if they wish to attend. We are limited to one bus, so any student who cannot participate in this trip due to space limitations will be allowed to sign-up first for the pep band performance at Nation Ford on September 9. The NHS Percussion will perform at Sunset Park Elementary School on Friday, August 26, at 8:15 am. Students must arrive at Northwestern no later than 7:30 to load equipment on the bus. First block teachers will be notified that the students will come late to class that morning with an excused tardy. Students should wear purple show shirts for this performance.
Chaperones
Sign up here if you want to chaperone at the game next week. Individuals interested in chaperoning at this game and future events must have attended a chaperone training session and have a VERIFIED status with Rock Hill Schools.
Mattress Sale This Weekend!
Our MATTRESS SALE is on Saturday from 10:00 to 5:00 at the First Baptist Church off Dave Lyle Blvd. Our goal for this fundraiser is for each family to find one person that might be interested in purchasing a mattress.
- Please invite your family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors to the sale. Remind them to mention your student’s name at the checkout desk so your child gets their cash incentive.

The band boosters are hosting an Olde English “Dessert” Get-Together on Tuesday, August 30, from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Come out to enjoy some sweets and learn how you can help make the Olde English Festival of Bands a success on September 24. Click here to RSVP.
The next Parent Meeting will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, September 6. Join us and get a chance to win a free oil change at Costa Oil (up to an $80 value).
